Dave came to Kaplan with a strong background in sales as well as corporate and agency public relations. Today, Dave has more than 15 years of industry experience and has an active interest in supporting early childhood education and care professionals as they help children meet their maximum potential. Dave currently lives in Mystic, Connecticut, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters, working on home improvement projects, and enjoying his boat and kayak out on water.

Dave currently covers a territory that spans beyond his home state of Connecticut. While he works closely with customers in Hartford, Bridgeport, and New Haven, Dave is also the Kaplan representative for the neighboring states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, serving customers in cities such as Boston, Lowell, Lawrence, Worcester, Springfield, Warwick, Woonsocket, and Providence.

Dave is an early childhood advocate and currently serves as the Co-president of the Connecticut Association for the Education of Young Children (CTAEYC), the state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Prior to that, he was Vice President of RIAEYC, and was part of the Board that launched and managed Rhode Island's Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS), BrightStars. Additionally, Dave works in partnership with a number of other organizations in each state, including regional chapters of national organizations, such as the Massachusetts Association for the Education of Young Children (MassAEYC), the Connecticut Association for the Education of Young Children (CAEYC), and the New England Head Start Association.

Dave currently acts as Kaplan's Regional Sales Director for the states of New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland – and the District of Columbia – as well as the states in his own sales territory.
